About Us

National Adventure Foundation is a non commercial, socially oriented, philanthropic, non-governmental organization (NGO), committed to the promotion of adventure activities and sports among the youth of the country with special emphasis on the underprivileged sections of the society.

However, it does organize 'exposure to Adventure' for anyone of any age, gender or vocation, if he/ she is interested in it, as cost effectively as possible, based on 'subsidy to those who need it, through grants advanced by Govt. Depts. like the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports', while others pay as per services provided/ arranged.

Director of National Adventure Foundation (Rajasthan Chapter) and President of Rajasthan Adventure Foundation, World renowned parasailing controller
Is gallantry awardee, has done his Masters in Commerce of Business Administration from Univ. of Rajasthan, Jaipur, worked as Officer (Adventure Programmes) inTATA Steel, Jamshedpur.
He did his Basic Mountaineering course and Advanced Mountaineering course from H.M.I. Darjeeling, and attended the IMF Advanced Climbing Camp held at Goumukh.
He did his basic Snow-Skiing and Water Skiing course at IIS&M Gulmarg in 1983. Learned Sky-Diving in 1982, from Indian Sky Diving Federation, Agra.

He was appointed as Liaison Officer with Spanish, Japanese Expedition to Mt. Bathartoli, Meru Mt. Chaturangi, and he was one of the members of the Japanese Rescue cum Search team to Mt. Nandakhat to search for seven missing persons of Japan.
From 1979 to 1986 he remained Camp Leader, Establishment Officer and Joint Director of National Himalayan Trekking Programme. He lead the very First Expedition from Rajasthan, named as Desert to Snow, to Mt. Gangotri II and Mt. Rudragara in 1981.
In 1982 he lead the team for Pre-Everest Expedition to Mt. Gangotri I.
He participated in the Indian Everest Expedition to Mt Everest, opened the route to South Co1, reached South CI thrice, reached upto 28,000 ft to support summit team in1984.
Lead Mt. Deo Tibba Expedition from Rajasthan in 1985.
Appointed Dy. Leader of Indo-Australian Expedition to Mt. Rimo (Karakoram Range) and opened the tough technical route (max) in 1985.
Participated in Indo-British Army Mt. Saser Kangri Expedition (Karakoram Range) in 1987 and climbed the mountain directly from the advance base camp in a single 8 hour push with 6,000 Ft. lead.
Lead Tata's Mt. ShriKailash Expedition in 1988.
Explored as Climbing Leader and Summiter Indo-Russian Mt. NandaDevi East Expedition in 1991.
He was hit by the avalanche during an expedition to Mount Everest,organised by the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in 2009.Bissa was accompanied by wife Dr Sushma.Had they succeeded in scaling the worlds highest mountain,they would have been the first couple to do so.

Dr. Sushma Bissa

Dr. Sushma Bissa

a member of the executive council of the National Adventure Foundation, basically a doctorate in Hindustani music is inspired and influenced by her life partner and has dedicated herself as a full fledged companion to her husband in the adventurous activities. She shared her experiences of adventurous life while climbing Mt. Everest along with her husband and Ms. Bachendri Pal. She called upon all the women community to take active part in adventurous activities, so that they can lead their life confidently, comfortably and independently. One needs to have the will power to succeed as with will power, one can also defeat death. She cited the example of her husband who even after breaking multiple bones and losing more than three fourth of his intestine, is still doing a great job in the field of adventure. At present, she is the only full time lady adventurist in the whole world. She has many international and Indian records to her name in field of adventure.
Dr Sushma is an expert in parasailing and bungee jumping.She is the only parasailing controller in the world who holds the record for conducting 16,000 launches in 11 days in Nagapattinam.She is in the Limca Book of Records for a desert safari expedition.She made it to the Karakoram Pass with Bachendri Pal.

Mr. Rohitashwa Bissa

Mr. ROB (Rohitashwa Bissa)

Adventure event organizer and specially trained instructor for all random adventure sports working for national adventure foundation under Mr. Magan bissa, is presently doing his engineering from electronics.
He is the youngest parasailist, paraglider controller and also the youngest hot air balloon pilot.
He started doing parasailing from age of just 12months(1 year old) and started practicing paragliding at the age of just 4. He started piloting hot air balloon at age of 17.
He travelles all over the india all round the year for organizing various adventure activities. He adjoined Dr.Sushma bissa for making world record for parasailing.

What Can the NAF Do for you, Individually or as a Group

1) Offers all kind Adventure Exposures to youths in all elements i.e. Terrestrial, Aero & Aqua.
2) Self Defense Programs for Girls & Specialized Adventure programs for handicapped.
3) Adventure Programs including aero & water sports on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.
4) Adventure programs & training for different Institution, Schools, Colleges.
5) Outbound training programmers' for Corporate.

The NAF has been promoting adventure sports in India for then more than last three decades. It has a team of best highly qualified competent and professional experts leaded by the pioneer kings of adventure. It organizes various sports by proper qualified imported equipments.

Panna National Park, Jim Corbett National Park, Darjeeling, Goa, Mussorie, Manali.
Trekking – Valley of flower, hemkund, gomukh (origin of ganga river)

*Note:- All programmes depend upon weather condition. Minimum group of 300 students should be available for field sport.
